The Unicorn Bag is a fun Sewing Pattern with full PDF printable patterns, full photo written instructions, a video tutorial, SVG and Projector files.


It’s a cute bag that can be changed and customised to suit the person you are making it for.


From glittery hair to patterned cork it’s really easy to make it looking really cute.


Designed to be for younger children it’s a smaller cross body bag.

The PDF patterns can be printed directly on standard A4 or US letter paper.

The sewing patterns have full seam allowance included.

You will also receive SVG files for a cutting machine as well as projector files if you prefer these cutting methods.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Zipper at 18cm (7.5”) long (I used a size 5 but a size 3 would be equally fine).
  • Black vinyl, felt or HTV in black for the nostrils and eyelashes
  • 2×1⁄2”Drings
  • 2 x 1⁄2” Swivel Hooks
  • 1 x Magnetic Clasp
  • 6 x Rivets (use rivet size best for material you are using – I used 8mm x 8mm)
  • 3 or 4 x A4/letter size fine glitter sheet in 3 or 4 different colours for the 3 haircolours and horn. (You can also use vinyl, leatherette or cork also).
  • 1⁄2 m./ 1⁄2 yard Main fabric (D) vinyl/leatherette or cotton
  • 1⁄4 m./ 1⁄4 yard lining fabric
  • 1⁄2 m./ 1⁄2 yard Woven interfacing
  • 1⁄2 m./ 1⁄2 yard Non-woven interfacing
  • 1⁄2 m./ 1⁄2 yard Fusible Foam and light weight interfacing for attaching to the vinyl.
  • 7x43cm(23⁄4”x1615/16”)Peltex71F
  • Small piece of heavy weight fusible interfacing – i.e. Decovil (You could also use foam ifyou’d prefer –but it won’t be as flat.
  • Thread of your choice
