The Leila Pouch is a great beginner bag, A quick make that holds so much! Use it as a toiletry bag, a pencil case or simply to hold your sewing supplies.

The instructions takes you through all the steps to make this boxy bag. There are optional tabs on the ends of the zipper to help open and close the zip and a pocket on the inside too. This pattern was designed with my 10 year old daughter to be a great pencil case – large enough to hold everything with the inner pocket perfect for an eraser or glue stick.

Using scrap strips or coordinated fabrics, you can create a really fun look with the striped Quilt As You Go technique, or skip a few steps and do it without the strips and make a plain boxy bag – there are many options to this.

This listing is for the instant downloadable pattern templates and booklet. This includes full colour step by step instructions, and full sized templates to print, SVG’s and Projector file as well as a free video tutorial. (Click the video tab below to take a look).
