YOU WILL NEED:
- 1/2 m. (20”) Outer Fabric – something waterproof; faux leather, waterproof canvas or waxed cotton.
- 3/4 m. (30”) Lining Fabric – I highly recommend waterproof canvas.
- 1/2 m. (20”) Woven Interfacing.
- 3/4 m. (30”) Non-Woven Interfacing (If not using waterproof canvas for the lining).
- 20cm x 3cm (8“ x 1 1/4“) Peltex stiff interfacing. Note: you could also use Decovil Heavy or 2 layers of Decovil Light.
- 2 x 20cm (8”) zippers (size #3 or #5 depending on preference).
- 6 strong sew-in magnets for the top opening (you will need 3 sets of 2 magnets). Note: these are different to magnetic clasps, but you can substitute with magnetic clasps, but it won’t have the same top opening closure.
- 20cm (8”) fold-over elastic (I used 20mm width).
- 9 ‘Kam’ style 12mm size snap poppers (for the side pockets and removable pouch).
- 2 x 25mm (1”) D-Rings.
- 2 x 38 mm (1 1/2”) Lobster Clasps. Note: If you're using 38mm (1 1/2") hardware, then the slider and swivel hooks (Lobster Clasps) should be the same size.
- 1 x 38 mm (1 1/2”) Slider.
- 144 cm (56 11/16“) 38mm (11/2”) webbing.
Optional:
- 1/4 m. (10”) Fusible fleece or foam (if using faux leather on the outer you don’t need this unless you want a more structured look).
- Small pieces of Decovil Light.
- Decovil Heavy or similar for the base, if using Cotton Woven for the exterior fabric.
- Either 1/2” or 1” metal eyelet for the circular poop bag opening (there are also instructions on how to do this without the eyelet).
Along with usual sewing tools, you will also benefit from having:
Double sided quilting tape, pinking shears, clips, walking foot, and a Microtex needle (I used a 90
