The Trippit Bag is Your grab and go phone bag for adventure days, park days, and anywhere you want your essentials close and secure.


It is a compact, functional crossbody and waist bag designed to keep your phone, cards, keys, and sunglasses accessible at all times. Small enough to stay out of the way, but cleverly designed so nothing feels cramped.


With a front zipper pocket, internal slip pocket, and up to seven optional card slots, this is the smallest bag in the Studio 7t7 range, and the one that you need for every day.

You will need

Fabric

  • Outer fabric: a few fat quarters or approximately 0.5m (20”)
  • Lining fabric:
  • 0.5m (20”) if non directional
  • 1m (40”) if directional

All pieces are small due to the size of the bag, making this an excellent scrap busting project. Suitable for most fabrics, subject to your machine capabilities.


Interfacing and stabiliser

  • Non woven interfacing: 0.5m (20”)
  • Woven interfacing: 0.5m (20”)
  • Stabiliser (fusible fleece or fusible foam): 0.25m (10”)

Zips

  • Front zipper: #5 zip, 16cm (6 5/16”)
  • Main zipper: #5 zip, 30cm (11 13/16”)

Hardware and notions

  • Webbing: 38mm (1 1/2”) x 145cm (57")
  • Lobster clasps: 2 x 38mm (1 1/2”)
  • D rings: 2 x 25mm (1”)
  • Slider: 1 x approximately 38mm (1 1/2”)
  • Bias binding: 2 x 70cm (28”) lengths of 18mm (3/4”) bias binding or fold over elastic

Optional

  • Rivets: 6 x 8mm double capped rivets
  • Small scraps of Decovil Light for reinforcement behind rivets

Highly recommended

  • Double sided sewing tape
  • Size 90 universal needle
  • Thread to match or contrast
