Description

The 7t7 Mini Tote is from the free tutorial led pop up challenge in September 2025. Designed to be sewn via the cutting measurements on the video, this pdf download was created as a quick reference due to previous challenge requests.

This pattern is available for free inside the 7t7 Club where you get the instant downloadable pattern templates and booklet. This includes full colour step by step instructions, and full sized templates to print, as well as a (filmed live) video tutorial in a sew along bite sized format.



Features

  • Large Tote Bag
  • Simple construction with no hardware
  • Front and back slip pockets
  • Inside slip pocket
  • 2 different boxed corners/ boxed bottom techniques

• Beginner friendly (or a fast sew for more advanced bag makers)


You Will Need:

  • Outer (Main Fabric): 1/2m (20") non-directional fabric. For beginners we recommend Quilting Cotton. 


  • Lining Fabric: 1/2m (20") non-directional fabric. For beginners we recommend Quilting Cotton. 


Interfacing and Stabiliser: 


  • Non-Woven Interfacing: 1/2m (20") 


  • Woven Interfacing: 1/2m (20") 


  • Fusible Fleece (or faom): 1/2m (20")


Zips and Hardware/ Notions: 


  • Zipper: 45cm (17 11/16") #5 with pull attached. 


  • Webbing: 2 x lengths of 25mm (1") webbing to be 136cm (53 1/2") long each 

(Note that you can also use fabric I will go over this in the lives - you will need approx. 21cm (8") more of your outer fabric)


Optional: 


  • Rivets: 4 x 8mm double capped


  • Decovil: small pieces of light or heavy for behind the rivets.
